COLMES: Here's my concern: Are they going to be able to have warning signs [at the border] in Spanish, like "Deep Water," or, you know, "No Lifeguard on Duty," or "Curve Ahead"? There's a real safety reason to be able to have...
COULTER: How about "No Trespassing" at the border?
COLMES: In Spanish, "Go back to your home country"? That would be okay? All right.
COULTER: We'll also put it in Arabic.

IRAQ: A NEW REALITY SHOW
You can never get liberals to focus on the paramount danger of our time, the War on Terror. They will simply respond with meaningless talking points. The war was phony; where are the WMDs? "Big Oil." Bush is a liar. Halliburton! In the end, whether we win or lose (the latter is a possibility only if a Democrat becomes president), Democrats will say that's what was going to happen anyway.
Inasmuch as Democrats can't tell voters what they really believe, they all become masters of the Democrat word salad, howling their obscure vexations about bizarre technical issues, managing to sound like they have some thoughtful critique, without ever having a point.
Democrats narrowly won control of Congress in the 2006 midterm elections and immediately became even more hysterical than they are in their natural state. They didn't actually do anything to stop the Iraq War, unless you count their periodic pronouncements that we've lost. (Someone better tell Saddam!)
All the Democratic presidential candidates say the war in Iraq is distracting from the War on Terror. This is like saying that the bombing in Dresden distracted FDR from the war on Nazism.
They all say, "There is no military solution to Iraq; we need a political solution." I don't get that. There can be no "political solution" in Iraq until the Iraqis are safe, which I think requires a military solution. Political solutions tend to present themselves in the wake of military solutions.
